Tarancón The most important thing we need to add to what we’re doing is Membership. Please consider joining a revived Membership Committee. Several members and myself are providing some of the elements of what the Membership Committee does. But maintaining a healthy congregation, one that wishes to grow, means we need a fully functioning Membership Comm. What does it entail? 

http://rodneymills.com/hnjaz/graph-database-python.html A Membership Committee has two primary functions. One of them is to serve as our agents of hospitality for visitors. People are far more likely to make return visits when we show we care about them and their needs and interests. Reaching out to guests, finding out more about them, providing info on UUism and our congregation, answering questions, connecting them to our newsletter, minister, and other people… all helps newcomers in feeling connected to our community and imagining a place in it. The members of the Membership Comm are not the only ones who do this; we can all contribute to hospitality and connection. But they are the ones who dutifully make sure this always happens. The second function is to take attendance  of our services and take notice of patterns. Who is becoming a regular attender of our services and might appreciate being contacted again? Who haven’t we seen for awhile that we should reach out to? Does anyone need support from the minister or Care team?
